As well as using the usual NDT
techniques, like Ultrasonics, penetrating liquids, magnetic particles, ... ICIASA
has added new technologies like the Magnetic Flow Leakage MFL, very advanced
and efficient technology for the detection of thickness losses in
ferromagnetic materials.
The advantage
of these methods is that they don't contaminate or modifity the integrity of
the tanks.
